The Philadelphia Orchard Project will be at The Woodlands to harvest from some of the big, beautiful persimmon and ginkgo trees on site. Join them to learn about these plants and how to preserve them!

Bring gloves if you have them, as prolonged contact with ginkgo fruits can cause skin reactions in some people

Also, bring your own containers to harvest into and ladder or pole picker/harvester if you have them. NOTE: This is a historic site with some prize-winning specimens. Foraging is prohibited on site without explicit permission from the managers of The Woodlands.
