Jane Austen Night

You’re invited to join The Woodlands for a special edition of Jane Austen Night, featuring the 2020 version of Jane Austen’s classic, “Emma”.

This version of the film features familiar characters and match-making drama, and it introduces audiences to “a bright and colorful dollhouse” through the film makers attention to the architectural interiors featured in the movie. The setting and landscape in “Emma” is an excellent example of what the Hamilton Mansion could have looked like while it was William Hamilton’s country seat on the west banks of the Schuylkill.

Costumes are encouraged but not required. BYO drinks and a picnic dinner to enjoy before the film on the grounds of The Woodlands.
