"A Hole New World" Groundhog Tour

You love them, your ankles hate them. The pesky furry friends at The Woodlands create intricate underground tunnels and dens with as many as TEN entrances! Join us for a special tour exploring the prolific and robust community of groundhog dens at The Woodlands. Across our 54 acres, there are countless whistlepigs to visit, so get ready to get your steps in (but only on the brick paths or paved roads to avoid falling into any groundhog holes).

On this Special Tour, you'll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the hogs' homes. We'll use Ground-penetrating radar (GPR), a geophysical method that uses radar pulses to image the subsurface, to get an inside look at their secret systems. What are they doing down there?
